We're really grateful for your unending persistence and the burning ki of Sagittarius! Thanks for inspiring us to try our's best for 110% and motivating us with your good mood day by day.

It so happens that Ann's efforts this year have been rewarded not only in kendo (she passed her godan in September), but in naginata as well!

Ann visited Rotterdam on her birthday to take part in the annual naginata seminar hosted by the European Naginata Federation. Needless to say, it was essential to build up her naginata kihon and extend public relations within European countries. Despite the first impression as it might have seemed, the European naginata community is utmost hospitable and can leave any and all political disputes behind with the only purpose at hand – so that people could keep practicing and have fun doing naginata.

This was a very long journey, though. At first, she took a plane to Paris, then she took a shinkansen to Rotterdam. One could say she went an extra mile to get to the seminar. The event itself was more than just productive. Ann managed to build up her kihon for two days long, successfully pass 1 dan exam and take a train back to Paris.

We congratulate Ann on her achievement from the bottom of the heart! Now there is one more dan at our dojo as well as in Russian naginata community.
