Kendo and naginata, the budo, ought to be beyond politics. Sadly, they use the budo as a current political instrument of confrontation. Notwithstanding with that, the one follows the way of the sword should adhere its principles [katsujin-ken, literally "the saving fist”, the belief that martial arts were created to save and protect lives] above all. KAMINARIKAN dojo takes no part in politics. We are true to high ideals of kendo and naginata – the way of self-development and consciousness not chaos or destruction.
